Wow - I simply CANNOT believe that Christmas is only a few days away!!!!! I am up to my eyeballs in orders - I have only a few days left to get orders out. I've had a small snafu with my paypal and it's not charging people for shipping. Nothing like a few shipping charges to make the bank account smaller! :) I do have several orders more to get out the door and I think I'll be overnighting them to get them there by Christmas. Yikes!
On the mommy front - I have taken Bad mommy'ing to a new level. I packed up the kids to head to Seattle with Daddy in the car - and completely forgot the bears, blankets and pillows. Ugh. My kids are HUGE lovey fans - tonight is going to be a hard sleep night for sure. I was able to run home today and stuff everything into a box and I overnighted them to Anacortes!

Who needs comedians?
A few days ago my son told me that when it's his birthday (in April) that he wants to invite all the boys in his class except one. He specifically doesn't want this kid to come. Today I found out why... it's because he's funny. My son said that if this boy comes to the party no one will pay attention to him because this other kid is so funny! He thinks that this boy will get so silly that he'll put his face into Thomas' cake and everyone will laugh! Where do kids come up with this stuff? Seriously - I don't need comedians - I can just have a conversation with my 6 year old.

Thankfulness
I love Thanksgiving. It is not only a time that I get to be with my family but it also is a day specifically set aside to do something that I try to be mindful of everyday....thankfulness. This year I feel thankful for so many things. My amazing husband and kids to start with. Carl is such an amazingly supportive and loving husband. I truly feel blessed in my marriage. My kids are something I am thankful for everyday. They are definitely full of more energy than I ever have - but their little inquisitive minds and they way they think of things always makes me smile.
My business is going so well - I feel thankful for the fact that I not only get to do something I like but that I am able to make it into a "real" job! It's been a fun adventure to get pickled tink going. The website is still a work in progress but I really love it. Sean did a beautiful design job.
As I reflect on how lucky I am in my world I hope you are able to find some things to be thankful for too... a yummy turkey or a smile as you pass someone on the street. Happy Thanksgiving!

So much to learn...
This mommy blog world is like a HUGE spiderweb...it just goes and goes and goes. How in the world did I miss this boat? I feel like I am so behind the curve here. I like to think of myself as someone who is kind of with it tech-wise - but clearly I am not! I signed up for TwitterMoms - and am trying my darndest to figure out Twitter. Seems to have some issues with "searching". I'll figure it out eventually I guess.
In PIckled Tink news.... I finally stocked Bambini with my new and improved water proof charms. And they do look good I have to say! If you are out and about, stop by to check them out! I also re-did all the charms at Meringue in Lake Oswego and Salem - they now have gorgeous waterproof charms too! I am so excited about them. The new resin I am using now and the new silver from my new best friend in India make them really POP! Yay!
